GL Accountant

Summary
We are looking for an experienced GL Accountant with strong Analytical skills and knack for reporting to be able to ensure daily production reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert in Banking, ICM, Fixed Assets, Reconciliation or Journals with responsibility for driving standard processes, troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Work with Onshore client SME’s in minimizing the reconciliation items
- Responsible for validation and approval of journals
- Responsible for review and attestation of reconciliations
- Responsible for high risk reconciliations
- Responsible for adherence to controls and policies
- Single point of contact for the Client
- Responsible for timely communication on issues, risk and status update
- Perform Trial Balance Review to identify obvious errors, omission and inconsistencies
You have
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting area, knowledge of and practical experience with GL preferred
- University degree in Finance / Accounting must have
- Excellent knowledge of Financial Period End Process and Financial Reporting on SAP applications
- Good knowledge of English language (at least B2-both written and verbal)
- German Language would be as assest ((at least B2-both written and verbal)
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
